Pride of the Pharoahs

Pride of the Pharoahs

Oil on Canvas, 24" X 30"

Egypt's Arabian horse heritage is an ancient one. Magnificent tomb paintings and various inscriptions indicate that the Egyptians employed the horse as early as 1580 BC.

The Arabian horse carried many kings, including Thotmose 3rd (1504-1450 B.C.) and Ramses 2nd, whose noble coursers saved his life in battle against the Hittites.

It was my privilege to own and breed Straight Egyptian horses for many years.
